Allow Me to Introduce Myself…

It has been over a year, and I feel like I need to introduce myself. Here you know me as Suzy Doozer. That isn’t my real name, it never has been. Suzy Doozer is my nickname, my pen name, a piece of my childhood that I have kept all these years. It’s close to me, it’s meaningful in many ways- some of which I haven’t even talked about yet. Y’all have only known me as Suzy Doozer, and I have even received messages from readers addressed to Ms Doozer. I love that y’all feel that you can reach out to me, so I will let you in on a little secret.

My real name is Susan Queen. This is a name that has only been mine for three and a half months now; so I am still getting used to that also, but I will definitely talk about it in coming posts. I changed my name and changed my  life.  I promise to share all of that with y’all!  This post is intentionally short, I just wanted to get back to it. To get my feet a little wet and to say Hello! What I can tell you is this. I will share more with you, I will bring you totally up to date on everything that has been going on… because its all just so exciting!

I have changed more than just my name so hold on and enjoy the ride as I tell you all of what has been going on. I left a job, I started another. I walked away from some things that were not the best for me and my heart, and found something really satisfying along the way.  I have fallen away from some really solid good things that I plan to get back into.  I have laughed and cried. I have learned more about myself than I can even start to explain in this brief glimpse into the posts that I am about to share.

As always, you can look forward to my sometimes cheesy jokes and puns, my adventures, my triumphs, and my failures. The things that are to come and the things that I will reminisce about here with you are going to be fantastic. There will be food, there will be awesome photos that include my beloved doggy Waylon, and also the reason I have that new fancy name.
